I am satisfied with LucasGitanoFamily's guitar lessons. Full of useful content and information, and easy to understand. Even for beginners.

This is a good course for the moment. I take it slow and only do the next video when I feel ready.

So I'm on the second module. The videos are easy to understand, even for me (Spanish as my main language and English as a second language).

Lucas is a musical reference in the gipsy rumba music scene.

He has a cultural legitimacy as he is from Arles, from a family making up the Gitano Family.

But above all he has artistic legitimacy, given the quality of his own personal compositions.

Finally, he has a technical legitimacy since he perfectly masters the rumba compas, picado, arpeggios, rasguedo and even purely flamenco techniques such as the alzapua etc..

Beyond all that, Lucas simply explains the musical theory adapted to the guitar (the functioning of the neck and the understanding of scales/chords) which makes it possible to understand what one plays!

Lucas is an excellent teacher, if you have any questions, the service is excellent. I'm new to flamenco, I didn't have a teacher in my town. I'm glad I found it!

After having lost my way on the web and its countless suggestions and advice for learning the guitar, I came across this January 2024, the course offered by Lucas, "Extrait Rumba Académie" and there, I immediately knew that I had hit the bull's-eye with Lucas. Obviously, just because you're a very good guitarist doesn't mean you're a very good teacher, but this is the jackpot, his lessons are very well done, complete, at a very good level, very well explained, logical, the videos are perfect, no blah blah blah, you get right to the point from the first lesson. I'm a beginner, but I quickly invested in all the training packs, which are all linked together, and all as well done as each other. It's my discovery of the year, and I consider it a luxury to have this level of teaching at my fingertips, without having to travel, as I live in a very small village. I'm also learning at my own pace, and the icing on the cake is that I can film my learning and post my videos on the Telegram of the LGF student group, and Lucas corrects me or tells me what he thinks, so I can correct any bad moves and continue to make progress. So in a nutshell, after 6 months, I'm still delighted with this course, I'm making good progress and above all I'm enjoying myself 🙂

I'm just starting out, but as I'm not a complete beginner, I found what I was looking for in Lucas's classes by picking and choosing. Even though I already know a few things (scales, chords), I still need to acquire the speed and technical skills needed to play Lucas's flamenco-style pieces. I'm 1% of the way there 🙂 His videos are very useful and his challenges are very motivating. When I get bored of lessons, I tackle one of his scores which are really beautiful and for all tastes. I'm really pleased to have discovered (by chance) this artist who helps us in return for his experience. Perhaps the more experienced will be left wanting more?
